Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in Madrid today for a United Nations climate change conference. He is to make a speech outlining his administration’s plans to tackle global warming.

From Spain he will travel directly to London to attend the 70th anniversary celebration of NATO’s founding on December 3 and 4.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis says he will ask other NATO members to support Greece in the face of fellow member Turkey’s attempts to intrude on Greek sovereignty, notably last week’s agreement with Libya de-limiting maritime borders in the Mediterranean.

Clashes between groups of Afghan and Arab asylum seekers were reported overnight at the Vial «hotspot» on the eastern Aegean island of Chios.
