Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is to meet with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in Geneva at 4 pm with talks expected to focus on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and hopes for the relaunch of efforts to resolve the Cyprus problem.

President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday Turkey is ready to provide Tripoli any military support it needs after Ankara and Libya’s internationally recognized government signed a security deal.

Khalifa Haftar, who leads forces in eastern Libya, “is not a legitimate leader” Erdogan said after meeting in Istanbul with Fayez al-Sarraj, prime minister of Libya’s Government of National Accord.
